Our unique method:
The Meditation as a Safe Space (MSS)® program was born from my own connection with human pain and vulnerability, as well as the many journeys I’ve shared with those who have placed their trust in my work. The insights gained along the way have allowed me to share these teachings at international academic and scientific gatherings.
At its heart, this program reveals a simple, yet profound truth: all we need is to breathe with awareness and intention to uncover a sacred space that has always been within us. This space is woven from the threads of our own history, a sanctuary carved from the experiences that have shaped us. It is here to bring meaning and re-definition to the wounds we carry.
This journey offers a path of transformation—a liberation from the grip of anxiety and stress. It invites us to call forth the beauty available that dwells within, creating a safe refuge in both the mind and the heart. With equanimity and kindness as its foundation, this practice shifts us from a state of constant alertness and threat to one of deep trust and calm, where we can reconnect with the positive resources that reside in both our memory and the present moment.
About Sendero Mindful
Sendero Mindful operates as a service and human connection practice, born during the pandemic, with the purpose of designing programs to support individuals navigating transformative life moments.
BWe aim to hold and nurture human fragility by reframing difficult experiences. This openness to pain comes from personal experience, as well as working in diverse settings, including: soldiers in recovery from the Colombian army, cancer patients, young people struggling with depression, individuals in mourning, and those facing radical life changes to build new beginnings.
Each program I facilitate is unique, tailored to the personal story of the participant, and rooted in the principles of "Meditation as a Safe Space" (MSS)®.

I am Olga Restrepo Botero, founder of Sendero Mindful...
I was born in Medellín, Colombia, a green city surrounded by mountains and trees. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of long walks by waterfalls and through tropical forests, where my connection with nature began. Its sounds, its perfection, moved me, giving me the strength to flow and feel safe by trusting the abundant beauty surrounding me.
My academic background is in business and consulting; I studied advertising and earned an MBA in management. Throughout my career, I have taught in small businesses, multinationals, and postgraduate programs. Since the birth of my daughter, I have focused on studying and working in the areas of introspection, awareness, and well-being. Currently, I am a writer and meditation teacher for individuals, groups, and companies through Sendero Mindful.
I have been deeply committed to teaching as a process of reciprocal learning.

Testimonies
“Olga and her course went beyond a guide for understanding how to cope with and overcome my illness; they became a tool that I hope will help me become better—more human, more empathetic, more compassionate, and better at managing my emotions.”
Diana, Colombia
“Olga, I want to thank you very much for all the teachings and experiences I’ve gained in the two wonderful courses I’ve attended. I truly appreciate your dedication, your ability to convey knowledge, and your talent for fostering group participation, which further enriches the experience. The readings and contemporary books are a delight for the spirit. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
“Olga's courses are spectacular; they cover different topics, and each one is very beneficial for life. With Olga, I learned to meditate, to calm my mind, a bit of neuroscience, and above all, to pay much more attention to everything I do in my life. Thank you, for all the teachings.”
